"My father always wanted to be the corpse at every funeral, the bride at every wedding and the baby at every christening."( Alice Roosevelt Longworth)

I always love to look at brides on their wedding day. So happy and radiant. And then he leaves the toilet seat up... (I've been married for almost 25 years, so that's a lot of them :-)

Anyway, I loved drawing this picture that I found of a random bride, because she looks so contemplative. All jokes aside, marriage is a serious thing, and you should be in it for the long haul.

Hope you enjoy this picture!

"Did you know babies are nauseated by the smell of a clean shirt?" (Jeff Foxworthy)

I just had to draw my grandson. Born almost 3 years ago, he was so indignant at birth that he pretty much had his mouth wide open for at least a half hour. He had barely made it out when he let out the scream that lasted...and lasted... and lasted... didn't deal with his eviction very well.....But so cute!

Ok, so...

I decided to do this thing called blog. So..I should introduce myself I guess.
I am a multi-cultural artist originally from Detroit, Michigan, but moved to Sweden when I was almost 6 years old.

My artist father was the best teacher of art I could ever ask for and my mother was a real life coach. Because of her, I have no fear of picking up and moving to another part of the world. I have lived in Germany, Ireland, Arizona and now Maryland. Hopefully you enjoy my blog as much as I think I'll enjoy blogging.
